VidFun is a Multimedia viewer, image processor, capture/print utility,
thumbnail manager, presentation tool and screensaver. Its Explorer
interface works even in Win3.1. Win95/NT features include long file
names with multi-select, 32-bit video/printing. The program also serves
as a helper app for Web browsers (e.g., Netscape). Features instant
multimedia slide shows (or screen savers) with multi-track
graphics/video/audio with 30+ effects, variable loops, speed, volume,
gamma, size, randomization, position, background, delays, floating
presentation controls, drag & drop slide thumb nails, and unlimited
slides.
JPEG support is fast and fault-tolerant (e.g., Progressive JPEG). Aside
from variable, Fit-to-Window previews, support includes MPEG, AVI, MOV,
FLC/FLI, MIDI, WAV, CD music, BMP, DIB, CMP, KQP, PIC, MAC, Photo CD,
PICT, PCX, PNG, PSD, RAS, TGA, TIF, WPG, WMF and Multi page DCX/TIF fax
files.
It also prints in color with many styles. Professional imaging includes:
Variable unsharp mask, shadow/highlight stretching, gamma, sharpen,
smooth, histograms, color reduction/dithering, compute bitmap,
RGB/CMYK/HSV/HLS tuning, edits (cut, paste, .01 deg. rotate, border,
trim, resize). Format conversions, TWAIN and more.
